Don Hughes came to GPCR as General Manager in January of 1992 from WGRC in Lewisburg, PA. He has more than 30 years of radio experience which began while attending Columbia International University in Columbia, SC. He is married and has six kids! Don can be heard weekdays from Noon-3pm on KHYM. Contact Don: don@khym.org


Glenn Hascall started his broadcasting career in 1984. He has been assigned virtually every position possible including news and production. He began his ministry in Christian radio in 1990 and came to GPCR in the spring of 2006 as KHYM Station Manager after serving Christian Media Inc. in Nebraska in a managerial capacity for more than 16 years. Glenn is also a graduate of UHK and has been married since 1986. He and his wife have two children. Glenn was named Air Personality of the Year for 2008 by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters. Delvin Kinser has worked in radio and TV news in Oklahoma and Kansas since 1991. He grew up  in Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma. He graduated from Hardesty, OK and has a degree in Broadcast Journalism from OSU. Delvin came to KHYM after working as the morning news anchor in Liberal, KS. He and his wife Rhonda have two children Mark and Anna. Delvin also serves as the worship leader at a church pastored by his father. Michael Luskey has been in the broadcasting business since 1979. From an air force family, he was born in Illinios and grew up in Oklahoma attending the University of Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Communications. Michael came to GPCR in November of 1992 from the Light 105 in Oklahoma City. He is married and has two sons. You can hear him on KHYM from 9am to noon weekdays. Michael was the Kansas Association of Broadcaster's Personality of the Year for 1998 and 2004. Contact Mike: mike@khym.org


Jay Johnson is originally from Philadelphia and has been involved in radio since 1972. He has served as announcer, producer and manager for several ministries like Moody Broadcasting  Network, Family Life Radio in Arizona, His Radio, Precept Ministries and the Family Life Network in New York. He and his wife A'Lisa have 5 grown children and a Shar-Pei named, "Bagel"

Lisa is a Kansas girl who grew up in the Pratt area. She and her husband, Brandon, along with their 3 daughters Lezlee, Logan, and Fallon, and 3 sons Tristan, Greyson, and Torren moved to Meade in 2005. Lisa joined the KHYM staff in March of 2007 after being blessed to be home with her children for a span of 20 years. Lisa clings to the promise in Philippians 1:6 - "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." Lisa is thankful that the Lord has opened this door for her to share her love for Jesus through radio.

She prays that God will be glorified and that if someone is listening that doesn’t know Jesus as their Savior, they will come to a saving knowledge of Him.

Joe Polek is an experienced broadcaster that originally hails from Baltimore, Maryland. He holds a degree in Communication and Speech.  Joe is married and has one child. You can hear Joe Tues-Thurs. mornings from midnight to six and again evenings on the weekend. Contact Joe: joe@khym.org


Bill Lurwick came to KHYM in the summer of 2004 after working in radio since 1989 at stations in Iowa, Florida, Kentucky and Pennsylvania. Raised in Pennsylvania, Bill recomitted his life to Christ in 1996 and his life has been a "great adventure" ever since. Bill and his wife Vivian have 3 children, Alex, Sammi Jo and Rachael. Bill says, "I love the Lord and I hope that shines through me to you"! Bill is the Production Director for KHYM and fills in on the air from time to time. Contact Bill: bill@khym.org

 


Steve Larson joined the GPCR staff in June of 1997. He came to us from KJLY in Blue Earth, MN. Steve has nearly 30 years of broadcast engineering experience and has worked overseas with various ministries. Steve is responsible for overseeing both KHYM & KJIL and our network of 40 translators and  satellite uplink equipment. We keep him locked in the basement with the all the toys or on the road to keep us on the air. Contact Steve: steve@khym.org


Debbie Remple joined Great Plains Christian Radio in 1999 as receptionist. She became our office manager in 2001. Debbie has 2 grown children. She has lived in Meade for over 20 years. Her dedication continues to keep the office running smoothly and is another valued member of the KHYM staff. Contact Debbie: debbie@khym.org


Ele Siemens came to KHYM in August of 2001. She and her husband Danny have lived in Meade since the beginning of time. They have 2 daughters. Ele is also the voice you hear most often when you call the station. She is also responsible for coordinating the mailings you receive from KHYM. Contact Ele: ele@khym.org

Darrin Kinser joined the GPCR staff in June of 2007 as Grant Underwriting Director, after spending 5 years in commercial radio sales.  He grew up in the Oklahoma Panhandle and graduated from Hardesty High School in 1987.  Darrin attended a year of Bible college, then graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in radio and television production.  Darrin and his wife Angela have three children Brad, Alyssa and Dawson. Jerry Mann is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a ThM., in Pastoral Ministries, as well as from the University of Wisconsin, in Business Administration. As a reformed geek he is responsible for the Business functions of Great Plains Christian Radio. In addition, he is involved in Church Relations with the local churches. (If you need someone to speak at your church, just send him a note.) Jerry was born in Wisconsin because he wanted to be close to his mommy.
